Description

Mid-size 1930s Bernex wrist watch.

The watch has a Swiss seven jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 31mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is nickel and is signed inside the hinged case back with the Bernex name. The case has a scratch across the back but otherwise is in good condition.

The lens is in good condition too.

The dial is in its original finish with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. The finish has darkened with age but still easy to read, and it has a charming appearance.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a vintage presentation box which is tatty but still good to have.
