The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 43mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop so it is larger than a 40mm ladies fob watch but smaller than a full size 50mm pocket watch. The case is the 10k gold filled Planet model from the Crescent Watch Case Company, supplier to Waltham. The case is in lovely condition, and decorated to both the front and back. The front has small initials to the centre.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.
Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.
The watch has a beautiful blue grey enamel dial with blued steel hands, hand painted detailing and outer minute track with red markers.

The watch comes with a delicate double albert with each chain measuring 21cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.
The watch and chain come in an antique box, not original to the watch but they sit well together.
