French Antique Warehouse has dated this piece to the 1800s.
The removable marble follows the line of the legs, with rounded corners, and the line continues down with fluted mahogany, to the tapered legs on metal feet. Locks are present in the bottom two drawers, which would have functioned at the bottom rather than the top of the drawer, but no key is available. An attractive piece of furniture for any reception or living space which requires some storage.

Dating to circa 1800, this is made of mahogany and originates from France.
In good age related condition, there is some very minor nibbling to the edge of the marble on one rounded corner. The bottom drawer has a little damage at one inside back corner, which is only noticeable when the drawer is removed and does not affect functionality. There are deliberately introduced single round holes in the side of each drawer towards the back. No key is available.
