Georgian Style Mahogany Crossbanded Chest of Drawers (Edwardian, George Iii)

Description

A George III style, chest of drawers, Circa 1910, Edwardian period. This chest of drawers is constructed in mahogany with cross banding detailing throughout. With oblong shaped top with crossbanded border. Over bank of drawers configured 2 small drawers over 3 full width drawers, all graduated in height, with cock-beaded edges, crossbanded borders on the front, brass swing handles and brass escutcheons. Flanked by narrow half columns, moulded base and raised on splayed bracket feet.

A handsome chest of drawers, of slightly below average size. In good condition and ready for use.

Dimensions:

This chest of drawers measures approximately 81.5 cm (32") tall, 86.5 cm (34") wide, and 46 cm (18") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chest of drawers is in a good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Some marks and blemishes, in keeping with age and use. Small chips to veneers. All original hardware. In good working order, very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
