Description

Antique silver Zenith pocket watch.

The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement, signed Zenith, which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which which has details of medals won at the Paris Exhibition of 1900 together with details of the movement.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there is a very small Continental silver mark inside the case back, along with the Zenith logo. The case has some decoration to the back although it has rubbed over the years. A little unevenness in places.

The acrylic lens has light marking but not very noticeable to the naked eye.

The signed dial has its original ornate hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There is an old patch of damage next to number 5.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
