English 19th Century Antique Military Chest of Drawers

Made entirely in teak, this English antique campaign chest of drawers splits into two sections with carrying handles to each side that are hollowed out on the underside to allow better finger hold. There are also holes to pass rope through, to secure and tie down onboard a ship whilst travelling. The large lignum and iron wheels also screw off. All in very good condition, the drawers run well and have flush, turned inset handles. English and dating to around

1840.
