The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a good quality Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 46mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and was made by the Birmingham case maker Aaron Dennison. The case is in good condition with just general light surface marking, nothing serious at all.

The glass is in good condition.
Edward of Glasgow would have been the original retailer of the watch. The firm was established in 1838 by George Edward, they traded for 125 years before being acquired by Mappin & Webb in 1963.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
