Georgian Chest of Drawers with Hidden Drawers

18th century
Description

Well proportioned late Georgian mahogany inlaid chest of drawers with two hidden drawers, circa 1800.

Wonderful figuring to the mahogany and the band of ebony inlay really works with the rich mahogany and contrasting brass handles.

There are two hidden drawers in the frieze just below the top of the chest, these are opened from within the two larger drawers.

Stands well and offers lots of storage, the condition is good and the top has been fully re polished too.

Measuring:

43 3/4 inches or 111 cm high

42 3/4 inches or 108.5 cm wide at the feet

20 inches of 51 cm deep
