Description

Mid-size Tissot wrist watch, 1955.

The watch has a 16-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 27B-21, which is working nicely. The movement is signed and it has the serial number 3,442,803 which dates it back to 1955.

The watch measures 30.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs so it is classed as a mid-size piece. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition for a 1950s piece, there is the odd mark but nothing too serious. The inside of the case back is signed with the Tissot name, as is the winding crown.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, red centre seconds sweep and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
