Description

Antique Elgin full hunter pocket watch, Masonic.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, the seven jewel grade 292, which is working nicely. The gilt movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 18,160,141 which dates it back to 1915. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition, just some light rubbing and a small shallow indentation to the front, barely worth mentioning.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

We believe that the watch has its original dial but it has been overpainted with Masonic symbols and images at some stage in its life.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
