18th Century Italian Walnut Serpentine Commode

18th century
Description

18th Century Italian serpentine commode constructed in walnut. Having a quarter veneered moulded and cross banded top with fine stringing/inlay conforming to the shape below. Three generous sized, deep drawers, with large drop brass handles are flanked by canted corners with marquetry and stringing depicting a column. Raised on a plinth base with bracket feet.

Excellent colour that has a wonderful warm glow.
