It is of superb quality, with stunning burr walnut grain patterns.
The top unfolds and rests on slide out supports, this useful design is intended to give a large surface for getting ready in the morning but it also makes this very useful as a bureau / desk. There is plenty of storage space, the drawers which are graduated in depth all run smoothly and have fine hand cut dovetailed joints.
We have had this recently re-polished, the condition is excellent for its age.
