The watch has a good quality 16 jewel adjusted movement which is working nicely. Unusually the movement is part nickel and part gilt finish, an extra cost at the time of manufacture for something that would rarely be seen so a lovely sign of quality. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold filled Moon model from the Birmingham based watch case manufacturer Dennisons. Dennisons was a prolific manufacturer and supplier of cases for many Swiss movements. The case is in good condition with just a shallow indentation to the back, nothing too serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is signed Admiral, a brand name registered by Cyma, and it is in lovely condition. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
