Rare Grand Tour late 19th century German patinated black ''bronzed'' finish terracotta high relief wall plaque depicting St. Peter''s Basilica and Piazza in Rome with the inscription ''ROMA PIAZZA di S: PIETRO e BASILICA VATICANA''. The black reverse stamped ''JM'' with an indecipherable symbol which looks like a V and probably denotes the date of production and the number ''5150'' and a ''1'' for Johann Maresch and making it post 1863.
