Here we have a wonderful Victorian Arts and Crafts solid English Ash chest of drawers c1890. As you can see the chest has great colour and patina. The top has particularly good Ash grain and a moulded edge. Below there is a desirable configuration of two over three drawers. The drawers have fantastic incised geometric decoration to their fronts and the original fine quality brass handles. It is worth noting the beautiful and unusual construction of the drawers with half ring and dowel joints rather that the usual dovetails. Every inch of this chest is solid Ash. There are fielded panels to the sides and the whole sits on a plinth base. A wonderful fine quality Arts and Crafts chest of drawers in great retail condition ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 107 cm wide 54 cm deep 95 cm high.
