1940 - 1960
Description

A nice marine chronometer by Thomas Mercer. It dates from around 1960 but the design has not changed much since the19th Cent. It is in a two part mahogany case with a glazed top.

It is not currently working and it appears the balance staff is damaged. The seconds hand is also missing.
