Description

1922 Waltham stem winding pocket watch.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working well. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 24229994 dates it back to 1922. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some unevenness.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the stem. The case is 10ct gold filled and is the Moon model made by the Dennison Watch Case Company, Dennisons manufactured most of the cases for Waltham UK. The case has rubbing around the hinged case back and a little unevenness.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The signed white dial has a couple of very faint hairline cracks below the sub seconds dial but otherwise it is in nice condition with blued steel Breguet style hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.

The watch will be sent in a new presentation box.
