Antique silver Stauffer chronograph for Thomas Russell.

UK POSTAGE ONLY FOR THIS ITEM

The watch has a Swiss chronograph movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Stauffer & Co mark, and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover.

The watch measures 51mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental marks for 935 silver inside both of the case backs. The front of the case is in good condition. There is a bruise to the side and some fairy gentle unevenness to the back.

The glass lens is in good condition.

The dial is signed with the name of the original retailer, Russells Ltd. It is in lovely condition with pin-set hands in a blued steel finish, a constant seconds subsidiary dial and another subsidiary dial which records up to 30 minutes.

The chronograph comes in an antique T R Russell presentation box.
