Gents 9ct gold Smiths Imperial wrist watch, 1965.

This is a very nice example of a Smiths Imperial in super condition, almost as though it’s barely been worn.

The watch has a 15-jewel Smiths movement, stamped Made in England, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for London 1965, together with a maker’s mark for Smiths Clocks & Watches. The case is in lovely condition. There is a long service inscription to the back of the watch.

The lens is in very nice condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish and it is in superb condition with original hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in its Smiths presentation box.
