Description

Antique silver Record pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel (2 adjustments) stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Record Watch Company and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover which has a small amount of marking.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the case backs for Birmingham 1918 with a case maker’s mark for the English case maker Aaron Dennison, supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, as is the acrylic lens.

The signed dial is in good condition with Breguet style blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes with a single chain which measures 29cm long including the T-bar and the clasp. Each of the links has the lion silver mark.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
