Superb Quality Antique Regency Linen Press
This Superb Quality early 19th Century Mahogany Antique Regency Linen Press / Press cupboard dates from ca. 1830 and is by the renowned cabinet makers Wilkinson and Son. It has a beautifully figured top with inverted break-fronted edge above two figured doors with moulded panels and stands on unusual tapering legs with small turned bun feet. The interior of this beautiful antique linen press is fitted with four sliding linen trays and a deep lower drawer with brass handles. It is a warm rich Mahogany shade with a striking grain, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of furniture wax finishing.
