Antique Zenith pocket watch, c1914.

The watch has a stem-winding movement which is working nicely. This is a good quality movement with patent micro regulator and Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The movement is signed with the Zenith name and the serial number 1,777,529 dates it back to around 1914.

The movement is protected by a signed inner hinged cover which has details of the Grand Prix won at Paris in 1900.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside both of the case backs. Overall, the case is in good condition, just the odd minor mark and some light wear to the engine turned detail on the back of the watch.

The glass lens has a couple of minor marks, nothing too noticeable.

The signed dial has blued steel hands, an inner 24 hour dial with red numerals and a large subsidiary seconds dial. There are hairline cracks to the dial but most are faint.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
