1930s Unitas Silver Pocket Watch and Chain

1930s Unitas silver pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement, signed Unitas, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little scratching from where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1937 together with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, a prolific manufacturer of cases and supplier to various watch makers. The case is in good condition, general light surface marks and a slight indentation to the back, nothing too serious at all.

The acrylic lens is in lovely condition.

The dial is in super condition with blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

The watch comes with a single chain, 24cm long including the T-bar and the clasp, complete with silver fob with rose gold wash detail. The chain is hallmarked for 1927, and the fob for 1921.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
