The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1890s.
The watch has an 11-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The movement is fully signed and the serial number 8,403,787 dates it back to 1898.

The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel. The front of the case is in good condition, the back has some surface marking but not too detrimental.
The glass lens is in good condition, just a small chip to the bevelled edge.
The signed dial is in lovely condition, just a shade of discolouration. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
