The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1950s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed Buren Grand Prix, and it is all protected by a fitted inner cover.
The watch measures 29mm wide excluding the winding crown and 29mm high excluding the lugs.

The case is in good condition, with just the odd minor mark, nothing too serious at all.
The back of the watch has a 1954 long service inscription from Imperial Chemicals.
The lens has a small mark but not too detrimental.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands. The painted detail has been removed from the numbers and hands, probably because of the radium content.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
