Mid 19th century Chinese hard stone statue of a Fo Dog /Temple Lion, c1850. The statue is a good weight for its size at 0.3kg and it is finely carved and executed. The body has good lines and the face a lovely, serene look. The stone has taken on great colour/patina following years of handling. Overall condition is good with only very minor surface wear and a small chip by one ear.
