Swiss silver pocket watch, 1932.

The watch has a good quality stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement has 15 jewels (3 adjustments) and a more unusual regulator. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some general surface marking and a small indentation.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the back covers for Birmingham 1932, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. Dennisons was a Birmingham based manufacturer who supplied various watch makers with cases.

The case has the odd mark and general light surface marks but overall is very acceptable for a 1932 piece.

The glass lens has a couple of nibbles to the bevelled edge but the main face of the lens is in lovely condition.

The dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. There is a hairline crack running between 10 and 4 but it is faint.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
