Fine Quality Mahogany Regency Bow Fronted Antique Sideboard
Dating from ca. 1830, this Fine Quality Mahogany Regency Bow Fronted Antique Sideboard is attributed to Gillows of Lancaster. It has a shaped back with shell scrolled carvings and a small shelf. This sits above a beautifully figured bow fronted top, central oak lined drawer and flanked by a deep cock beaded drawer and cupboard door. The drawer has cellarette divides and all the drawers have beautifully turned handles. This superb antique sideboard stands on elegant turned reeded legs and the mahogany has aged to a rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
