Antique silver Longines full hunter pocket watch, c1908.

The watch has a stem-winding movement, signed Longines, which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which is also signed Longines and it has details of various medals won at trade exhibitions.

The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is 800 silver and there are hallmarks inside both of the outer covers, together with the Longines logo which includes the initials EF for Ernest Francillon, the founder of Longines.

The case has engine turned detail to both the front and the back and a vacant cartouche to the front.

The case is in good condition, just a little hint of unevenness, nothing serious at all.

The winding crown pushes in to release the front cover.

Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition.

The dial is signed with the name Longines and it also has the name of the original retailer, Nacib K Djezvedjian & Son of Constantinople, the sales representative of Longines in the Ottoman Empire from 1880 to 1960.

The dial has a hairline crack from the sub seconds dial up to number 10, and a couple of short hairlines between 3 and 4. Lever set hands.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
