The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a Swiss signed 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely.
The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are hallmarks inside the two case backs for Birmingham 1937 with a case maker’s mark for Dennisons, a Birmingham based watch case manufacturer and supplier to various watch makers.
The case is in super condition and the engine turned detail to the back of the watch is still nice and crisp.
The glass lens has a few little marks if you look carefully.
The dial has blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers. There are a couple of hairline cracks to the dial although fairly faint.
The watch comes in a Dennisons card box.
