Rosewood Wellington Chest

Description

Circa 1860. Mid Victorian, quality rosewood Wellington chest in totally original condition. The rectangular top in figured Brazilian rosewood with crossbanded fore edges above eight graduated drawers with crosscut oak drawer linings and original finely turned knobs. Flanked by pilasters with carved corbels, with a locking pilaster on one side with working lock and key. All supported on an enclosed plinth base.
