George III Period 3-Tier Mahogany Dumb Waiter

Description

A good quality late-18th century George III period 3-tier mahogany DUMB WAITER in lovely original condition.

Each of the three circular tiers is turned from finely figured solid mahogany with raised edges, all supported on a well-turned gun-barrel central column. The column extends down to a tripod base with three cabriole legs each with a pointed pad foot and brass castor.

A fine example, good colour and patina.

Dated: c.1780-1800.
