The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1930s.
The watch has a 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Silvana name. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover.
The watch measures 48mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is silver and there are Continental hallmarks inside both of the case backs. Nicely decorated on both sides, and a nice Art Deco pattern to the hinged case back. The case has some unevenness to the back but otherwise is in good condition.
The glass lens is in good condition.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
