Gents 1960s Talis Wrist Watch with Day Date

Description

Gents 1960s Talis wrist watch with day date.

The watch has a Swiss 25-jewel automatic movement which is working nicely.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The main body of the case is gold plated while the screw-on case back is stainless steel. The case is in good condition with just minor marking, nothing serious at all.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands, seconds sweep and day / date apertures. The date is initially set by turning the hands repeatedly backwards and forwards between 12 midnight and 8pm. The day is set by turning the hands forwards until the desired day is reached.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
