Dominex Lever Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Dominex Lever full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a good quality 15-jewel (3 adjustments) Swiss stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is signed with the Dominex Lever name and it is all protected by an inner hinged cover. The brand name Dominex was registered by a couple of companies at the beginning of the 1900s but we believe this particular watch to be from Goldberg Sons & Co Ltd, an importer based in Manchester, UK, who registered the name in 1926.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and it is in good condition with just general light surface marks, nothing serious at all. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial is in good condition, just some slight discolouration to the subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute track.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
