Edwardian Bow-fronted Sideboard.

1900 - 1920
Description

This beautiful bow-fronted sideboard is of exceptional standard, both in regard to the materials it is made from and also the quality of the workmanship.

Dating from the Edwardian period, C1900, it is made in stunning flame-mahogany with a solid mahogany top which is dagrooned around the edges, as is the upstand at the rear.

The body of the piece consists of two cupboards (one with a shelf at midpoint and the other with a slide out drawer intended for holding drinks) and three drawers.

The drawers are graduated and cockbeaded and the top one is divided and lined with original green beize.

To the base of the cupboard there are open scrolled fretwork brackets.

The upstand at the rear of the piece is detatchable.

Dimensions: 60" wide

22" Deep

37" Tall + 10" upstand
