The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1920s.
The watch has a 18.79N stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 4,393,836 which dates it back to 1925.
The watch measures 47mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nielloware.
It is added as a powder or paste, then fired until it melts or at least softens, and flows or is pushed into the engraved lines in the metal.

The case has a few missing pieces of nielloware but it still has a charming appearance.
The watch glass has a couple of minor marks but nothing serious at all.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
