A small Charles II oak dresser base having two drawers with moulded fronts, fluted pilasters on the front and side stiles and shaped brackets at the front and sides of the heavy base moulding. The dresser stands on turned baluster front legs and plain back ones and has a 2 inch upstand at the back of the top which is a later addition, could be taken off but is quite useful. Fine colour and condition , the handles are old but not original and there are old repairs to the base of the back legs(see photo). English Circa1685.
