Gents 1920s 9ct Gold Waltham Wrist Watch

Description

Gents 9ct gold Waltham wrist watch, c1921.

The watch has a seven jewel hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 24,005,768 which dates it back to 1921.

The watch measures 32mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the fixed wire lugs. The case is 9 carat rose gold and it is hallmarked inside the case back for Birmingham 1926, with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison. The Dennison Watch Case Company made most of the cases for Waltham UK. Overall, the case is in good condition, just a little unevenness to the back.

The lens is in good condition, as is the signed dial.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
