Antique Waltham Riverside Full Hunter Pocket Watch

1900 - 1920
Description

Antique Waltham Riverside full hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a high grade 19-jewel stem-winding movement, Riverside grade, which is working nicely. A good quality movement with Church 1892 patent regulator, screw-set jewels and nicely patterned plates. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 15,092,816 dates it back to 1906. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has a little scratching.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and it is beautifully decorated on both the front and back. The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover.

Inside, there is a glass lens which is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in lovely condition.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

We are an on-line only business and do not have facilities for callers. Our offices are open from Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
