Very decorative early 19th century French painted two drawer commode with a slight breakfront, original brasses and a shaped charcoal fossilised marble top, circa 1830.
The high legs of this commode give it a lighter feel, quite elegant with those shaped front and rear legs and the brass mounts to the bases.
The commode is painted in an aged pastel blue or you could say a pale teal, really lovely finish to it and certainly doesn’t look recently painted.
Two full width drawers, both running well and offering good storage if you need it, or this is perhaps a candidate to using as decor in a living room, could also work as an alternative to a hall console table.

Width 42 1/2'' / 108cm
D depth 20'' / 51cm
