Description

Late Georgian oak dresser base, South Wales c.1800. Single plank top with an applied ogee moulding to the underside. Over three drawers with cockbeaded drawer fronts, period brass handles and bone shield shaped escutcheons. Straight apron, also with an ogee moulding applied, raised on four well turned column legs over an open potboard display shelf with oak boards and a raised front lip. Oak rail below the shelf, moulded trim and shaped bracket feet to the front and sides. Oak sides and back board. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshop.
