Gents 9ct Gold Omega Wrist Watch, 1961

Description

UK POSTAGE ONLY FOR THIS ITEM

Gents 9ct gold Omega wrist watch, 1961.

The watch has a 17-jewel calibre 268 hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 18,434,963 dates it back to 1961.

The watch measures 33.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case is 9 carat gold and there are hallmarks inside the case back for Birmingham 1960 with a case maker’s mark for Aaron Dennison, together with the Omega triangular stamp. The case is in good condition with just very light marking. Replacement plain winding crown.

The lens is in good condition.

The signed dial has a little marking all as shown in the photos.

The watch comes on a later plain rolled-gold bracelet which currently fits a 17.5cm wrist although there is capacity on the clasp to make it around 2cm smaller.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
