Description

This is a beautiful mid 19th century Chinese cabinet with a lovely antique paint finish dating from the Qing dynasty, circa 1860. The cabinet is in solid elmwood and has been fully and professionally restored so is in superb ready to use condition. The paintwork has a lovely subtle effect with the doors retaining the original hand painted designs and showing remnants of the original artists signature to the panels. The large cabinet has a useful central shelf and its original hand forged iron ring handles. Rare to find with lovely original paintwork. We also have just listed a smaller cabinet from the same artist that is very similar in design.

This measures 160 cms wide 46 cms deep and 91 cms high.
