The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1940s.
The watch has a Swiss 15-jewel adjusted hand-winding movement which is working nicely. The name Waverley was registered by the Timor Watch Company in 1929.
The main body of the case is chrome plated and the screw-on case back is stainless steel. There is general light marking to the case, all commensurate with its age. The case back and the dial state that the watch is waterproof but, as with any vintage watch, it should be kept away from water and moisture.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The signed dial is in its original finish with original hands (the infill has been removed at some stage), red seconds sweep and outer minute markers.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
