Description

Gents Tissot Camping wrist watch, 1955.

The watch has a fully signed 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 27B-1 which was in production from 1950 until 1961. The serial number on this particular watch, 3,359,167, dates it back to 1955. The movement is protected by an inner lens.

The watch measures 34mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the lugs. The main body of the case is chrome plated while the case back is stainless steel. There is wear and marking to the chrome plate commensurate with its age.

The lens is in lovely condition.

The signed dial is in good condition with original dauphine shaped hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and outer minute markers.

A new leather strap has been fitted.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.
