The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1960s.
Gents Omega Seamaster wrist watch, 1964.
The watch has a calibre 562 automatic movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and the serial number 21,296,481 dates it back to 1964.
The watch measures 34.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs.
The case back has the Seamaster logo to the outside and the Omega triangular mark together with the case reference 166.003 which is correct for the calibre 562.

Omega signed winding crown.
The lens is in good condition.
The signed dial has a little marking if viewed closely but is very acceptable. Dauphine shaped hands, centre seconds hand and quickset date… this is an early form of quickset where the hands are moved repeatedly backwards and forwards between a quarter past midnight and 9pm until the desired time is reached.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
