A superb and incredibly original 18th Century welsh Dresser Base of fabulous colour and patina. Retaining the original handles, Ogee bracket feet and wooden locks to the door and drawers. The wooden drawer locks that twist into position are a very unusual feature, they are operated from inside the cupboard and fit into a hole in the drawer bottoms. All the boards and drawer linings are in good clean original condition and the piece tips up to reveal wonderful clean dry underneath surface and all original feet having lost no hight over the years. The well made panelled back also in dry clean untouched condition.
