Description

Regency period, mahogany inlaid bow front four height chest of drawers, Circa 1820. This chest of drawers with well figured mahogany throughout. Configured two short drawers over three full width drawers, all graduated in height, with cock-beaded edges, original rosewood turned knob handles, brass escutcheons and locks, with working key. Inlaid ebony and boxwood, border around base, with sculpted apron, raised on splayed bracket feet.

A very handsome, high quality chest of drawers. In good working order and ready to use.

This chest of drawers measures approximately 110 cm (43") tall, 107 cm (42") wide, and 51.5 cm (20") deep.

Condition:

Please see the pictures for details of the items condition. - This chest of drawers is in a very good condition, commensurate with its age, and is structurally very sound and sturdy. Original handles, locks and escutcheons. Some marks and blemishes in keeping with use. In very good working order, very serviceable and ready to use. - As with all vintage & antique furniture there will be signs of use, marks, wear & tear, etc.
