Description

Antique York pocket watch and chain.

The watch has a 7 jewel, 3 adjustments stem-winding movement which is working well. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some scratching where it has been opened in the past.

The watch measures 48.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is nickel and has light surface marking from use and a mild unevenness to the back but overall it is in nice condition for a 1920s piece.

The glass lens is in nice condition.

The dial is signed York possibly the retailers name. The dial has a faint hairline crack between 4 and 5 o'clock but otherwise it is in nice condition.

The watch has its original blued steel Breguet style hands.

The watch comes with a double albert, each chain measuring 25cm long including the T-bar and the clasp.

The watch and chain come in a new presentation box.
